Amman Arul is a 1973 Tamil-language film directed by Pattu.[1] The film stars A. V. M. Rajan, Jaishankar and Manjula. The film was produced by P. L. Palaniappa Chettiar in the name of his son S. Ram. Its music was composed by Shankar–Ganesh. The film is based on the powers of goddess Parvati. Parvathi is known in Tamil language as Amman and hence the film's name Amman Arul.
